YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
All the Information You Need to Know
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE? MEDICARE? MAINECARE?
We accept Medicare and MaineCare, as well as all other private insurances. As a new provider, I am happy to work with patients to enroll as a provider with their health plan. Please note that some services may not be covered or may require a copay.
HOW QUICKLY CAN I GET AN APPOINTMENT?
Appointments are available now. We can accommodate most new patient appointments within 1 to 2 weeks. Established patients should be accommodated within 1 to 3 days, depending on the need for the appointment. Schedule appointment here. We encourage patients to use the online portal provided to view their visit notes, request refills of prescriptions or ask non-urgent medical questions.
HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
We are happy to see you where you feel most comfortable in your home. Visits are made easier if there is a comfortable place for you to sit or lay down and a small table for supplies. Please have your medications and any questions ready to review. Family members or other caring people are welcome to join.
ARE YOU CURRENTLY ACCEPTING PATIENTS FROM MY COMMUNITY?
We are currently accepting adult patients interested in care at home from Bangor, Brewer, Bradley, East Holden, Eddington, Milford, Old Town, Orrington, Orono, Stillwater, and Veazie. If you don't see your community on the list - please reach out to see if we have expanded our service area.
DO I HAVE TO LEAVE MY CURRENT PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER?
No - while I would love to support you as a primary care provider - I am happy to co-manage health issues with any other provider. We can arrange for consents to gather your health history and communicate directly with your primary care provider. This provides a link from your provider in the office to the care you are chosing to receive at home.
